Customer 1006

Mechanical / Tire Shop, Saskatoon

Questions?

Customer was installing auto hoists and needed to know where his in-floor heat lines ran so the installers could avoid them. We had only a 1" tolerance for error.

Hoists were installed without striking any in-floor heating lines.

Base of hoist had to straddle lines with securing bolts driven into clear concrete

A short window of opportunity is available to discern between lines and cooler concrete

When conditions are right, lines show up clearly

Notice the difference in temperature between lines & concrete is only 2 degrees

One hole in the wrong place = One unhappy customer

Infrared thermography shows heat reflections of installers on flloor

Lines were marketed with chalk and then checked and rechecked (and checked again...)
