In Floor Heat scan

Questions?

Challenge: first scan was unable to isolate loop from rest of floor due to ambient heat. Retested with cold floor

Area description:        Bay 1 - closest to house, Bay 2 - middle bay, Bay 3 - closest to street

Comments:

I captured dozens of images over a 11/2 hr time frame and other than the hot water entering the drain in the mechanical room, could find no anomalies in the isolated heating loop.

Images taken around the garage pad exterior showed no unusual heat signature.

2:12:25 pm - bay 3 no heat signature yet

Bay 2 - (middle bay) - outset of test

Center of Bays 2 & 3 - outset of test

2:17:32 pm - Bay 3 - lines starting to show

2:22:31 pm - bay 2 lines starting to show

2:17:58 pm - center of bays 2 & 3 loop becoming visible

2:23:26 pm - lines in heating

3:13:08 pm - center of bays 2 & 3 loop becoming visible - no anomalies. Some higher temps due to loop being buried in concrete at varying levels.

3:12:58 pm - Bay 3 loop clearly visible. Test has run for 1 hr with no signs of heat flooding or hot water migration.

3:12:25 pm - Bay 1 lines running by doors hots. No anomaly.

3:25:39 pm - mechanical room drain. Hot water could be seen entering drain from somewhere. Garage is to the right of this image.
